Jambi And Pangkal Balam Add New Cranes Appliance
The State Port Corporation had operated some cranes in two ports, they are Jambi and Pangkal Balam.
The operational of the cranes are expected can improve performance in the two ports and also motivate commodities stevedoring productivity.
The Secretary of the State Port Corporation II, Rima Novianto, said the cranes had been operated in Jambi and Pangkal Balam.
“There immediately will be operationalized cranes in Bengkulu and Cirebon,” he said today.
The State Port Corporate II had invested Rp. 6.6 trillion, respectively of Rp. 1.1 trillion in 2010, Rp 2.5 trillion in 2011 and Rp. 3 trillion in this year.
Such amount of fund is for modernized the ports in territory of the State Port Corporate II, included by adding some cranes.
Of 45 units of crane of Rp. 769 billion had ordered from Chinese manufacturer, even some of them had been installed.
The cranes such like Gantry Lufhing Crane had been worked in Qingdao, while Gantry Jip Crane had ordered in Nanjing. While for Rail Mounted Gantry Crane and Container Crane, they made in Wuxi, respectively. (*/Bsns)
